Employment agency Manpower is looking for a process engineering manager on behalf of Dow Chemical in Terneuzen. Working activitiesThis job involves executing process engineering tasks for various projects up to 10MM$. The timelines of these projects and assignments vary from one month to half a year. What do we offer you?A gross salary between 4,500 and 5,500 euros per monthReimbursement of travel expenses of 0.19 euros per kmReimbursment of Westerschelde tunnel expensesFree access to Manpower’s online learning platform, StudytubePension accrual via ManpowerPossibility of a permanent contract with Dow Chemical in the long runA vacancy for a longer period of timeA fulltime job for 40 hours a weekJouw profielJob requirementsTo qualify for this job, it is important that you meet the following requirements:You have a Bachelor’s degree or higher in either Engineering or ChemistryYou have a minimum of 5 years’ working experience as a process engineer, preferably within the petrochemical industryYou are capable of leading projects independentlyYou are fluent in English (at least on a B2 level according to the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages)You have experience with all aspects of Process Engineering design work, including but not limited to design of heat exchangers, pumps, control valves, relief valves, composition of spec sheets, creating P&IDs and line lists, etc.You understand chemical engineering fundamentals and how to apply these to technical problemsYou are available for a minimum of 32 hours per weekYou preferably live up to 75 km from Terneuzen, for example in Middelburg, Goes, Hulst or Hoek, or you are willing to move to the Terneuzen areaYou have your own mode of transportation (bicycle, moped, scooter or car)You are able to apply for a Code of Good Conduct (VOG or Verklaring Omtrent Gedrag) Starting date of the vacancyIn agreement, you will start work as soon as possible.
